It doesn't matter if you don't get the rules absolutely spot on, just enjoy the game that's all. Play whenever you like, and as little or as often as you like, that's my motto. If things get a bit stale or boring, then move on to another game for a while. You'll be suprised how fresh the game will feel when you come back to it.
Try not to throw too many doubles.

Steve.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5174782934578287865.post-48370219815908871542009-07-07T04:20:21.958-07:002009-07-07T04:20:21.958-07:00Moni,

But, that being said, I don't make a lot of rolls.

As the Emulator suggests, I use my imagination once a direction is indicated. Also, since the terrain of the world is set, I don't need to query that . . . and, of course, the dialogue comes from me.

Now I DO make Mythic rolls and go in the direction they suggest . . . but I am not using it to define everything.

I hope that that answers your question.

-- JeffBluebear Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07595975572873838050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5174782934578287865.post-33918190603302576972009-07-07T04:05:51.069-07:002009-07-07T04:05:51.069-07:00Hello!

Have we witnessed only the highlights of Mythic generation so far or have you really been using it so little?

This said, keep it up :)Monihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09017588968434075662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5174782934578287865.post-14386683241626070142009-07-05T18:32:48.676-07:002009-07-05T18:32:48.676-07:00No worries. I'm not sure I could answer a question like that about any of the hobby things I do. lol

I'm following as a novice, taking mental notes.

It gets rather hot where I live for much of the Summer, so I don't get a lot of painting done and even setting up for a tabletop battle is hot work (or I'm woefully out of shape!). Maybe it's a good time to sit in front of a fan and play with Mythic and pen and paper... (I'm still trying to finish painting some minis every month though!)Fitz-Badgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15510866929782142007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5174782934578287865.post-54512955680293505152009-07-05T17:36:07.046-07:002009-07-05T17:36:07.046-07:00Fitz,

I type as I run it . . . but then it takes a lot longer to take and add photos, tweak maps and make finishing notes.

In addition I usually don't do it all in one sitting . . . and, finally, I've only done three scenes. Remember, this is my first attempt at using Mythic at all (and I'm not even sure that I'm doing it correctly).

However I really DO appreciate comments. Not only does it let me know that some people are reading this, but they often have had useful comments or ideas.

-- JeffBluebear Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07595975572873838050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5174782934578287865.post-43707540123220368762009-07-05T15:42:19.526-07:002009-07-05T15:42:19.526-07:00Another good episode!
